Wet in Walkerton

Not to overwhelm you with pictures, but here are a few good ones from our trip to my sister Amy's house in Ontario, Canada.
We took off Monday night at 9 PM with the hopes that the boys would sleep all the way to her house, approximately 9 hours away. Not only did they happily sleep, but we made awesome time and showed up on their doorstep at 6:15 AM. Matt did some quick calculations around Syracuse, realized that we were going to get there early and slowed down to 65 for the rest of the trip. I can't fathom his ability to drive overnight, but he did wonderful!
While at Amy's, we got to use their 4-wheelers. Nathan thought it was great from the start, but Thomas only had to sit on it a few times while it was off to decide that it was pretty cool. He fussed the first time we drove around on it but then when he decided he liked it, he threw a fuss when we took him off! When we got home, Matt bought them a 3 wheeler with pedals. When Nathan gets on, he makes the engine noise!
On Wednesday afternoon, we went to Boiler Beach in Kincardine. What a beautiful day and lovely beach. The water was very shallow for a long distance so it was warm. We all went in and I think that turned Thomas on to swimming. We spent ages in the water with them. We went to another beach on Friday afternoon at which the attached beach pictures were taken. It was overcast and cooler so we just played on the beach.
Both my niece and nephew play soccer so Tuesday night, we watched John play and Thursday night, we watched Rebecca play. I thought the kids would find the games interesting, but they really weren't excited by it. We all played pass the babies on the sidelines!
There are several other really nice pictures not from our trip and a few little pieces of news that I'll just share in the next DDOB.
love to each,
